Sürgülü cetvel, Te cetveli, hesap makinası kullandık.
Özetle; (gerek lisansta, gerekse yüksek lisans sırasında) çok çalıştık, çoook. Daha iyi yetişebilmek için yardımcı kitaplardan bile yararlandık.
Yurtdışında daha yeni basılmış kitapları tüm dünya ile ayni anda okuduk. Çoğu ciltli (hard cover) kitaplardı. Japon baskısı karton kapaklı (soft cover) kitaplar biraz daha hesaplı idi.
Kitaplarımızı üniversitedeki Kitaplık’tan satın alıyorduk. Bazı kitapları arkadaşımız Yaşar Alıçlı’nın Güven Kitabevi’nden aldığımız da oluyordu.
O yılların koşullarında bizlere bu olanakları sağlayan ailelerimize binlerce teşekkür.. Yaşımız ilerledikçe kıymetlerini daha fazla anlıyoruz.
